I'm a silly mom of two glorious young adults and a devoted partner to the man of my dreams. Talk to me for a minute and you will know I am unfailingly passionate and persistent in unearthing how we can be the healthiest version of ourselves. These days you can find me geeking out and staying current on the deluge of new, exciting health information and breaking it down for you. I embody a direct yet nurturing style that gets results.
Food is magic medicine. Being outside is good for your insides. Your body relies on actual food to stay alive and fight disease. Your body was designed to walk.
I am a mix of private/reserved along with bold/courageous. Deeply compassionate and direct.
Horror movies are not for me. Increasingly neither are heights.
I have made a couple big leaps of faith. First one ten years ago when I left my marriage. This catapulted me on a trajectory of getting back in touch with who I really am. I learned many difficult lessons about the sad & scary things in the world during this time. A couple of the beautiful gifts I garnered were how to trust & honor myself.
My second big leap was leaving my 29 year high school math teaching career before retirement kicked in. It was time to integrate what I have learned to help the world heal.
In addition to my obsession with all things food, I dabble & create with fabric, yarn and plants. I ache for flavor. In all aspects of my life.
I love to walk, hike, swim, paddle, bike. I am grateful for the knowledge, resources, and desire to feed my body food that in turn allows me to do those things.
I've been noticing the color and beauty in the ditches as I travel these days.
Math is the language of technology that is "proving" to us the ancient wisdom we have always had and collectively let go of. Reconnecting with that knowing is part of what I practice every day.
