Here’s a win for health I put together last weekend. I was tired of spending money on hand soap that I don’t approve of. All part of my ongoing journey to rid my home of toxic chemicals. I like Dr. Bronner’s products but find the soap to be runny. I did some poking around and found this recipe on Pinterest for the win! Recipe at Foaming hand soap recipe from Ambersnaturalnutrition.com. What inspired me was the 32 ounce jug of Dr. Bronner’s on sale at my local food co-op for $10.85. Add to that some lavender essential oil I had around (roughly $10/tiny jar) and that was it. I would be the one to get lazy/cheap and skip the oil but I understand it actually helps with the foaming process over the long run.
